阅读能力，除词汇量大小以外，还包含阅读速度、长难句理解、和把握主题大意的能力。要会快速阅读，同学们必须学会一些阅读的技能：如：skimming(跳读)、scanning(扫读)和digesting(研读)。skimming和scanning就是根据阅读任务在文中查找相关信息。digesting主要是用来理解长难句、把握主题大意和作者意图以及猜测词义的技术。不仅要研读长难句结构，也还需要研读逻辑关系。
